What does it mean when someone says I don't want violence but I will resort to violence, I would do whatever it takes? ?

Why do people talk allegorically to you or answer with a question?

For me personally it means that if ANTIFA, Black Lives Only Matter and other lib\leftists attack my property, my family and my community I would retaliate by whatever means possible to protect them.  

It means they're not very bright. Yeah, I know, but there's a lot of that going around now.

Sad.

Sometimes its just stupidity and poor judgment 

It means they understand how high the stakes are.
