Growing up, eh?  OK, I was born in '56, so we're talking mid to late 60's.  I'm going to throw out the Saturday morning cartoons and just consider regular TV shows.

It would have to be a toss up between Green Acres and the original Star Trek.

I lliked Sea Hunt

Kung Fu was my favourite show when I was a teenager. 

As a kid, It was whatever my mom wanted to watch.

We were not alow to watched t.v in the bedroom.

It got better when started to work

When I was a kid, 1940s and -50s, we only had two channels: WSPD from Toledo and WIMA from Lima.  And all the transmissions were over the air by antennas.  And of course everything, all the programs, were live and in black and white.  There was no such thing as a taped show or color.

I think my favorite show back then was "The Howdy Doody Show."  Howdy was  a marionette and the live actor was called Uncle Bob (I think, it was a few years ago).
