Why does the CDC and health dept recommend socal distancing online? ?

I understand that people could spread corona if they are gathered together physically. But why shouldn't people stay close with friends and family over Skype or email or Facebook or Twitter? Or telephone? Why shouldn't kids keep in touch with their friends with online video games?

Corona virus can't be transmitted thru a computer. So why are we told to socal distance and not keep in touch with friends?

Unless you are remarkably stupid, you know that social distancing doesn't refer to keeping in touch with people over a computer or phone. It refers to PHYSICAL contact.

You can Skype or email or play online games all you want.

Find some sharper way to troll, dear.

I highly doubt they would actually recommend that.

I would think that they would want people to stay connected to each other. The internet / virtual way, is safer then having a gathering of people that come from different house holds.

Social distancing is for when you're out in public, and or around people that you don't know or live with.
