I'm looking for obituaries of two prominent thoroughbred horse racing personalities.?

The first is Bob Weems, long time track announcer at Monmouth Park/Turf Paradise. He died soon after his retirement in 1993. The second is a little trickier as he might still be living, but I'm pretty sure I heard he had passed some years ago. This would be trainer Joe Cantey, who trained Belmont winner Temperance Hill.

Thanks.

I cannot seem to find an obiturary on either of these prominent and successful trainers. I will look into further and will edit to update should I find something. With that Bob Weems was one of the greatest race track announcers of all time. His voice graced Monmouth Park for many years until he retired in 1993. He passed away soon afterwards. And, regarding Joe Canty, who would be around 78 now. Joe ranked among the top trainers in the U.S., his horses having won more than $1 million in 1979, of which Cantey collected 10 percent.
