When  a person thinks (imagines) that they are a victim (reality is painful sometimes) they feel entitled. The world owes me mentality is a major theme to them. It is narcissistic of them to think that they are special because they were wronged  in their mind. Like no one else has experienced some pain in life. But not having the insight they rationalize behaviors that are pathological.

The colonial Patriots were victims until they got all uptight and demanded their rights. American lives mattered.
