What did the civil war accompolish?

Lincoln could see the wars in Europe.  Where most small nations smaller than our states are constantly at war with each other.  Like Germany against Poland.  Would be like Kansas at war with Oklahoma.  So the civil war not only made all humans equal but kept us from wars.  Can you think of anything else it accompolished?

This established once-and-for-all, that the states could not leave the union.  BEfor this it was debatable.  New England wanted to secede, at one time.

This is not a confederation, but a federal republic.

Nothing more, other than what you stated

It not only did that but when we had the dust bowl and depression it hit some states harder than others and so they helped each other.  So when Africa has 58 small nations rather than states and they did not help each other or did the small nations in Europe.  So without back up many people starved.  During the world war the USA all worked together but in Europe they killed each other.

Poland was not independent during the American Civil War.  It was a puppet state of Russia.  The Civil War enriched financiers and expanded big business and gave us the income tax.
