Its a sweetened 'bun' made with a yeasted dough, it has dried fruit added & a shiny glaze. It probably originates from the city of Bath in the UK, I've had a couple split and buttered Yum!

Not in the bath though, It would get soggy!

They probably originated in the city of Bath in Southwest England. The city is so-called because of the Roman baths in the area, which are natural warm springs. In more normal circumstances these would be open for viewing, although not for bathing to the public.

Bath is due west of the much larger city of Bristol.

They are usually glazed, so are essentially waterproof should you wish to eat something sweet while you have a bath.

The only thinkg to eat in the bath, is the helmet with two cans of beer and two straws, along with the Daily Racing Form.

It's a British thing - a delicious sweet bun with dried fruit in it. Recipes vary. Originally made in Bath, in southwest England.

Are you thinking of a bath bomb, or attempting a poor pun?

It's a product you drop in the bath water, not something you eat.
