How come Trump is doing nothing about the Corona Virus? How come he believes it's a liberal hoax?

He doesn't have a clue what to do, so he blusters and deflects. That's what he always does.

Trump's problem (one of them) is that he can't express himself too well. Evidently what he meant was that the Dem's criticism of the way he handled it was a hoax.

But he sure didn't help matters by shrinking the size of the CDC and getting rid of the pandemic division!! Nor has he helped by spouting misinformation.

First, Trump NEVER SAID said the coronavirus is a hoax. What he DID say (albeit very clumsily) is that the Democrat criticism of his HANDLING of the coronavirus IS a hoax.

Second, Over a month ago now, Trump implemented travel restrictions from China. He was called "racist" for doing so by the Left when the severity of this thing hadn't set in with them yet! This is why there are only 11 deaths and a few dozen people currently infected by this thing. Compare this with places like China, South Korea and Italy. He has been proactive on this thing before it was politically-correct to do so! He laid out what his administration has and will be doing about COVID-19 last week at his televised press conference. VP Pence Trump's point-man on the coronavirus has been holding daily press briefing ever since giving updates.

If YOU think Trump has done NOTHING about the coronavirus or that he thinks it's a hoax, you've have been played for a FOOL by the people you have been listening to for your information. You need to start listening to new people for what going on in the World! What else are you wrong about?
