Should Yahoo! eliminate the ability to post anonymously?

We're already anonymous, unless we choose to use our real names, so why do we need the ability? The blue face allows the partisan moron to ask ignorant and pointless questions without any consequence, and removing that ability might go a long way to cleaning up this site.

Update:

First blue face answer shows how stupid ble faces can be: I can report a blue face as easily as an honest one.

Yes they should.  I urge all users to go to the suggestion site and vote for it. The last time I looked it said "gathering feedback ". Vote and post a comment.

Yes and also make it so you don't see any questions from users you blocked, this will eradicate trolls quickly.

Also make it so you can block certain sections altogether, like Politics no one needs this retarded section on this site.

Yes. A lot of people will block other uses then keep answering their questions anonymously. This will allow us to block those who first block us.

Well....they can allow it, but blocks shouldn't count if you aren't going to show who you are.

I think more people reporting troll questions and answers would help more. I also report the violation of insulting other members.

Yes, they should.  If you're not willing to stand behind your own post at least enough to put your account name on it, maybe you should think about why.

The worst thing YA ever did was allow posting as anonymous because it encourages hateful rants and trolling

There is a new option to get emails of all anonymous answers.

I use it because trolls like yourself will report any answer I give over and over because you got your delicate feelings hurt.

Update:  Sure you can report this answer, but you can't stalk all my other answers because of the lovely anonymous feature you dolt
