Iran has 90 million people, a per capita GDP of $15,000, surface-to-air missile defense, and very sophisticated assymetrical warfare components.  If the US declares war against Iran, how are American ground forces going to fight with no air support?  Like say, when Iran uses 5,000 armed speed boats to target and sink US air craft carriers?  Do you think the Carrier fleet is going to be able to stop all 5,000 speed boats from rocketing the carrier?  No carrier, no air support for ground troops.  You think they'll use Iraq for air-strips?  the Majority of Iraqi's are Shia muslim (Iran is the Shia capital).  Like I said.  Good luck with that.

Not gonna happen.  Not in a million years.  American offensive forces invading Iran have a 0% chance of success.
