Does Choisya ternata (variety Sundance) change colour according to the shadiness of its location? More sunlight = more green, less yellow?

Update:

The last part of the question should have read "More sunlight = more green, less yellow". I have one mature specimen that is in full shade and is more green than yellow. I also put two new ones in a month ago - their location is sunnier and I was wondering how it may affect their foliage colour.

Yes you are correct, if it is in the shade it will be greener.
