Typically a Continental climate - cold in Winter, hot in Summer with not much length to Spring or Fall. Winter goes quickly into Summer, in other words. And if you're lucky Fall lasts longer than some years, before the snow falls.
If you do your own searching, you'll find out what the weather is like from any day to day, or week to week. Just remember weather isn't as certain of late, as it used to be.

In the middle of April I had 4 glorious days of sunshine in Berlin.

Depends on when you visit.
Cold in winter.
Changeable in spring (which doesn't last too long).
It can be thundery in early to mid-June.
Hot and sometimes humid in summer.
Warm and sunny in the early autumn.
Cold and sometimes snowy at Christmas.
