Do parking tickets affect you in any way?
My significant other gets too many parking tickets. We pay them on time every time. However, my question is, as long as they are paid, do they affect you in any way? I.e when renewing liscense, etc? I want to know if it has any possible negative consequence. We live in IL

No adverse consequences or properly paid parking tickets. It does not matter for points, insurance, license renewal, etc. It just costs you money to keep getting and paying the tickets.

No they don't. As long as your parking fines are paid, you're in the clear.

Me, personally? No

As long as you pay them, that is all the trouble a parking ticket is. They can double in price when overdue, again and again. There may come a day when it includes being towed away as well as being ticketed, if you really want a super-effed up experience.

They will affect you if not paid (i.e. could get booted, could get cuffed if pulled over for some other offense and you have many unpaid tickets, etc). The bigger concern I would have is why isnt more common sense used when parking? Are you happy just throwing your money away?

The only negative consequence I can see it that it's money down the drain. Is there something wrong with her?
