How about Russia s new Nuclear powered (STEAM POWERED) super rocket?

Has anyone else noticed Putain of russia claimed he has a new Nuclear Powered super rocket.

Nuclear fuel cells heat water to steam to run turbines. So Putin has a STEAM POWERED ROCKET???

Update:

Just to clarify that Putin is a childish liar still living in the dark ages.

Update 2:

Putin actually said such a stupid thing on Russian TV, like an old steam powered train of a hundred years ago that could barely move on flat ground, while Putin claims he made his fly in the air at supersonic speed ? Absolutely insane.....or....really stupid.

Due to the weight of the propulsion components required I estimate such a rocket would have a range of...... maybe..... 16.5 feet.

Congratulations. You've learned the basics of how nuclear energy works.

How did you use to think it worked? Did you think Uranium somehow magically created electricity from thin air?

Up until this last decade, their most advanced bomber had propellers.

Wouldn't be any super rocket, LOX/hydrazine is more efficient.

Sounds very " Green " and environmentally friendly .

    No Carbon footprint !

That is theoretical and would actually use liquid hydrogen.

We know Putin never lies, right?
