Is it legal for the landlord to give us a 2 days warning to move things out of our storage?

We live in an appartment and we have an outside storage type of thing going on. I live in Quebec. I was wondering if the 2 weeks notice also applies to moving things out of the storage? (Only the storage, we are not being kicked out or anything) so they can replace them. Especially in the weather we currently have it is even worse.

I don't know what the law is in Quebec, but in most states in the US someone has to give at least a 30 day notice. Two days sure doesn't seem like enough time to me. Even if it's not the law there, the landlord should give you more notice than this.

Does the lease include the storage space? Or, as I presume, did the landlord let you store some stuff their but now needs their space back? If the latter, than you move your stuff.

If it could be considered an emergency of some sort they are not required to give you much notice. The definition of emergency may not be what you or I would call it. It is a legal thing.

I think it depends if you have a lease or not. Do you?
