I m on section8 in Ca. and wish to move to Mass. how do I go about it?

    You ask where you are and where you are going if you can port the voucher. Not common, as where you are has to keep paying for a non resident, and where you are going has one less voucher to give.

    Better get educated and get better paying jobs in demand than spending 5 - 8 yrs on a list.

    Contact HUD in your current location about transferring the voucher to another state.

    see about transferring it to your new state by contacting HUD

    Talk to your caseworker and see if your voucher is portable.
