Whats the different?

When do you use IS and when do you use ARE?

English is not my mother language..

  • It's different states of being for each subject.

    We/You & They = Are

    He/She/It = Is

    I = am

    It's like in French for example être is a verb of being, you conjugate it depending on each subject.

    IS is ONE. ARE are MANY. IS is alone, solo, all by itself. ARE are plural, many. He IS, They ARE.
