Would the world ever become vegan?
Countries economy's would breakdown, jobs would be lost, overpopulation and loss of jobs means a lot of poor people, what would the farm animaks do after so long in captivity? Would they know how to survive in the wild? Would they die off as a species? We wouldnt waste our resources trying to breed them anymore if were not going to consume them. And would we as a race devolve? The reason our intelligence grew was because we ate meat. No denying that, so how would the world adapt to this? It would just cause more problems wouldnt it.

No.
It's not an issue of "wrong" or "right" or who has the moral higher ground. It's just a simple fact that the percent of the population that wants to be vegan is small.
It may be increasing, I'm not sure, but if it is, it's increasing off of a very small base. By and large, most people prefer eating a variety of foods, including meat and dairy products.

Our intelligence had nothing to do with meat eating.....but why would the world become vegan? We would lose anything that had to do with animals.

Farm animals need not exist in the quantities they exist, and that can be cut down to reasonable levels in just one generation of animals, which isnt long. We waste huge amounts of resources feeding animals, because what they consume is not all transfered to us in nutrition. We are much better off harvesting what we need than what animals need. Go visit an industrial chicken farm and see how they treat living beings.
