Can you give more details:
- Tank size
- nitrites ,ph and nitrates
-how long you had your tank set up?
- temperature
- did you just put them straight into the tank after getting them or did you accliminate them slowly ?
Angel fish are not beginners fish they need well establish fish tank minimum 30 gal for the first angel and 10gal for second since they are able to grow 12 inches tall and 6 inches long.
Angel fish like ph around 7-7.5 and nitrates should be kept under 20ppm and no nitrites
When getting new angel fish make sure your tank is around 26 Celsius + and make sure you float them in a bag in the tank water for 15 minutes then add one cup of tank water into the bag and float for additional 10 minutes , do this couple times then slowly release them to the tank by making suring no bag water goes into the tank.
Make sure you leave tank lights off minimum 2 hours and keep tank dark this will keep angel fish less stressed. Make sure you have a filter recommend for your tank or filter which runs 5 times more than actual tank holds per hour.
oh if you have any tank mates make sure they are not aggressive, fin nippers which can stress angel fish more
