I don't watch any of these "talent" shows, or 'celebrity dancing shows' etc. but some reports suggest that a lot of people vote numerous times. Some of them vote thousands of times, by setting up groups to take turns continually phoning in a vote. There was even once a publicized case of a leader of a religious sect, urging all members to vote for one particular contestant, who was also a member of the sect.
