I own a integra 2001 and it's the best car i've had. I also owned a civic 2000 and it's pretty good, but the integra is better. It is very cheap in mantainance and you can find replacement parts everywhere at good price. It has great horse power mix with a great fuel efficiency. Do not buy a mazda 3. They literally eat the wheels because they lack on a good oem front wheel assembky so unless you would like to be changing that every year do not buy this car. Also, the fuel efficiency is horrible and not a great hp either. My recommendation is that you get a rsx it's one of the best cars out there. Great engine, great car at all. Looks modern and it has stayed at a great price to sell if you decide to re sell it although i doubt this. Has a k series engine which is the best engine honda has made. I wish i had one.

You might want to look at 2006 Honda Accord coupes too. I've been driving for 38 years. I got one 3 years ago and it's the best car I've ever owned. 30 MPG on regular gas, 0-60 in just under 6 seconds, and as reliable as you can get.

i own a integra dc2 type r. the b18c engine is the most exciting vtec engine you can get from the factory, although it does lack the torque down low compared to the K20 motors fron the RSX's. I find it more raw and fun to drive than the RSX's. It all depends on what you're after, if you want a fun car to drive then definitely go with the integra, if you want a faster car, RSX would be the car out of your list.
