Just a quick question: Would winning the FA Cup be considered better than winning NOTHING?

Over the past 8 years or so, without trophies, as an Arsenal fan I've been told countless times that it's trophies that matter.

Like when Spurs won the League Cup or when Liverpool won the league cup two years ago.... it was "more than Arsenal won" or whatever.

So if City do go on to win the league and Arsenal win the FA Cup, does that mean Arsenal would have had a better season than Liverpool and Chelsea?

I know if it was the other way around, I know what the story would be so.... I'd assume it would be YES this time round also.

    Very tough question, let me think about that, hmmmm, after much thought and contemplation i've decided that yes winning the FA cup would be better than winning nothing

    Yes, if Arsenal win the FA Cup, they'll have had a better season than everyone else, aside the PL winners. SIMPLE!

    Its better than 2nd place- you don't get a trophy for coming 2nd... just a pat on the back from the missus ;-)

    Given the amount of money Chelsea spent investing in players, you would say Arsenal have had the better campaign if they win the FA cup.
