Is feminism technically a hate group?
I have read this article:
http://www.womenagainstmen.com/media/feminism-is-a...
And this one:
http://www.xojane.com/family/i-was-raised-to-hate-...
But ive also read this opposing article:
http://itspronouncedmetrosexual.com/2012/12/reason...
"Some individual feminists hate men. A lot of feminists might hate men. You might even argue based on what you find on the internet that most feminists hate men. It’s irrelevant.
What matters is that feminism, distilled down to its absolute core, is about gender equity. The goal of feminism is to create a society in which individuals’ genders don’t restrict them from an equitable shot at success and happiness."
How is it irrelevant?
I think he meant equality, or else his point contradicts itself, right?
"If you're going to say feminism is not a man-hating movement, I’m going to have to insist that you provide links either to sites showing feminists condemning the statements listed above, or feminists telling women to respect men as men.”
Its ok if your trying to bring women up, but when the big representives of your movement stands for hating men ( ), try your absolute hardest to condemn those statements so your movemeny doesnt get a bad rep.

Absolutely it is a hate group. Any group that puts up posters inferring that all men are rapists is clearly a hate group. Feminism traffics in the most egregious intellectual dishonesty, distortions, peddling of half-truths and outright lies. Its entire worldview is at odds with reality. It requires its members to ascribe to a ridiculous, provably false worldview that holds that all women are oppressed and all men are oppressors. It teaches young women to hate men. If that isn't a hate group then what on earth is?
Gender equality isn't nearly good enough for them, they want female supremacy which explains why feminists continue to exist in the western world when women in the western world have LONG had all the rights of men, plus some gender-specific special privileges no man has, PLUS the ability to dodge some of the most important responsibilities in life that no man can dodge and they STILL want more.
Let's use an analogy OK? If I started a group called the "Society for the Preservation of Law and Order" and this group used F.B.I. crime statistics showing that while African-Americans represent only 12% of the population they commit a wildly disproportionate amount of the violent crime in this country, and this group started putting up posters inferring that all African-Americans are violent by nature and that if you see a black person you should assume he or she is a criminal until proven otherwise, then about 30 seconds after the "Society for the Preservation of Law and Order" is discovered by the Southern Poverty Law Center it would be listed as a hate group and nobody with a conscience would object.
Switch the scapegoat from African-Americans to men and you have the feminist movement.

No, technically feminism started out as a group of women wanting to be equal to men. However now it's turning into a hate group, apparently. The only time I hear people complain about feminism is when I'm on the internet, so that seriously makes me wonder.

I can see how men might think that for a bit, just like many women thought chauvinism was a category of sexist men who had no respect for women and treated them like second class citizen. Actually, it s thanks to chauvinism that feminism started existing....interesting isn't it how you reap what you sow.
