Which Web development framework do you recommend?

There are many web development frameworks around.

This is what I have worked out so far.

Ruby on Rails seems to one of the most popular.

While Django as an open source project with a name (Thanks to a certain recent movie that sounds cool) seems interesting and is designed for data driven projects.

Another possibility is Drupal, as a content management system built around PhP would be great for content driven systems.

I think agile web development framework is better for development. Rails 4 introduces a number of user-facing changes, and the ebook has been updated to match all the latest changes and new best practices in Rails. This includes full support for Ruby 2.0, controller concerns, Russian Doll caching, strong parameters, Turbolinks, new test and bin directory layouts, and much more.

It depends on what you want to do and your experience level.
