can my eyes get better?(i don't know if they can)?

i'm 14, a girl, height is 5'3.5, my weight is 178, and i have type 1 diabetes. one of the things of having type 1 is that you can have blindness, and i already have glasses and i'v had type 1 for 12 years in April and i was 2 1/2 when i was diagnosed with it, but can i/people fix their eyes without surgery or laser surgery?

    They can definitely get worse. Eyesight is definitely affected by diabetes and blindness is one of the possibilities. You should manage your diabetes closely and you will see an improvement, or at least a reduction in the symptoms. Your sight may fluctuate because of your condition, so improving your general health should be your priority before you look at surgery.

    In order for us to answer your question, you have to tell us what the problem is. Is it a refractive error (near- or farsightedness) or diabetic changes? You could start by giving your current prescription. I'll check back later.
