what do you think was the best year of anime?
So another year is about done, so i thought it would be interesting to ask. In terms of what came out in a specfic year or amount of great shows that came out that year, what year do you think is the best and why. If the animes ongoing, or played throughout multiple years - take the year it came out.
Im not sure either which year was the most awesome, 2013 is about done and i think it was pretty poor animewise. I think 2012 was a lot better with shows like Psycho-pass, SAO, fate/zero, jormangandr, shinsekai yori and more but what do others think.

2013 was kinda poor anime wise

atleast the steins gate movie came out this year :D:D
Don't really know but 2007... Baccanno, Gurren Lagaan, Darker than Black, Kanon and lucky star, (School Days does sorta kill the flow though :/)
2011 was also cool with Steins gate leading the way with mawaru penguindrum, guilty crown, Anohana, Magi Madoka, Deadman Wonderland all coming out that year and then the movie of the year Hotarubi no mori E being awesome

2013 was kinda lame but i enjoyed oregairu, oreshura, attack on titan, and im watching strike the blood and beyond the boundary, and golden time, and kuroko's basketball

My pick for sure is 90's anime!
The decade that turned "japanamation" into "ANME"!
The decade when major distributors began liscensing anime to the west. (i.e. FUNimation, ADV, etc)
The decade that truly brought ground-breaking features & series' to fans such as...
"Ninja Scroll"
"Ghost in the Shell"
"DBZ"
"Sailor Moon"
"Cowboy Bebop"
"Ranma 1/2"
All of which set the high standard for the medium of which fans now respect and expect!
