Is Hank Williams Sr considered one of the greatest song writers of all time?
@Jack.. I understand what you mean, however I've got a few metal head friends that love Hank/Johnny Cash.

Yeah man I think Hank sr was really original for his time. I really like his music, check out Hank III he's damn good to

He has always been considered as such. However, in recent years evidence has surfaced that many of his songs credited to his pen were actually bought and he had his name tacked on as writer.

It depends on who you ask. Ex. If you ask a goth or metal head they probably wont even know who he his. Versus asking a person that likes blues and country. Personally i think he's pretty good
