Musician and forensic scientist?

I love chemistry and I've always wanted to be a forensic scientist but I grew up playing violin and I've been involved in a lot of musical activities so lately I've been thinking about becoming a music teacher as well (especially conducting).

I don't think I'll be capable of double majoring, but as musicians can be admitted into medical school, do you it would be possible to major in music but also complete the prerequisites to get into a graduate program for forensics? And while I'm at it, what are some of the general prerequisites?

If this isn't possible, I would appreciate any alternative ways to pursue a career in both music and chemistry, though they seem to be an odd combination. :)

Update:

Do you think* it would be possible (sorry for the typo)...

You can be a music major and be admitted to medical school You will need to take a heavy load in biology, chemistry and math and do very well in those subjects./
