Why do all my charger make a high frequency buzz when plugged in to outlet in my apartment?

This happens with every outlet & every charger (phone, laptop, wifi hotspot, psp etc.) Even order brand new charger brick for my laptop to see if it stop and it still there except a bit lower but can only hear if my ear is close to the charger. Should i be concerned about this situation? Y is this happening? PS my xbox 360 slim power brick does samething as long as the light is on either green or orange

High frequency noise existed in charger is normal because nowadays ( to save cost ) most of them made with switching mode circuit that using high frequency 50KHz that could causing some cheap made high frequency transformer vibrating at its core. If you are able to get back those old type chargers that contains heavy and big 60Hz transformer, you would not hear those noise from them.

If the output of an adapter exceeds 120W,there would be a built-in fan for the adapter to cool down the main box.

In some cases, the fan maybe annoying but it's really useful for people to get rid of fire hazard.

    It's normal.

    Try to forget about it.
