Are Justin Beiber/Miley Cyrus good role models?
My 10 year old girl bought a stick on tattoo out of a vending machine, and said she wanted to look like Miley Cyrus. Our 7 year old flattend out the bill on her baseball hat to emulate Justin Beiber, and stated, "Don't worry dad, I just like his music." The parental controls on the T.V. and computer are pretty strict around here, and I'm sure they're getting most of their info from friends. Are these people my children should be looking up to?

Well... Maybe not Justin Beiber, Miley Cyrus is a bit better in my opinion ... It seems that your kids like the image that these two Stars give off, plus their fan bases consist of younger fans. I guess your kids are fine as long as they don't really go looking beyond either of those stars music.

Maybe Justin Beiber he's not that bad. But I most definitely would not let her look up to Miley Cyrus. Her new music video was ridiculous and not only that but in an interview she claims that she feels better when she's wearing less clothing and in her new music video she's at a party doing various inappropriate things. One of them being, making out with a barbie doll, and there is smoke coming out of some guys crotch, she is twerking and rubbing butts with three other girls in the video and it's pretty ridiculous. People argue that she can do these things because she's 21 and not 15 anymore which is a good point, so I wouldn't want my daughter looking up to a wild 21 year old. It may be alright for 16 year olds and older but not a 7 year old, she's not a good role model anymore.

Justin beiber is not too bad, I'm sorry he cuses as well, so no. Miley use to be, but not any more. Her new video "we can't stop" and her little accident with drugs has brought her innocent status down. Justin bieber acts like he is an innocent young boy just looking for love, but he has a music video with nicki minaj and we all know who she is capable of. She was not even dressed appropriate throughout the video. Selena Gomez has matured, but she has not did anything sexual like Miley Cyrus, so as Demi Lavato. Disney stars like them, bridget mendler, zack and cody and some others are some ones who are models because they show they can mature without changing their whole image. They grow to be mature in their own unique way.

He spat on his fans on a hotel ontime, he came late to a concert n everyone bood him, hes childish still and spoiled. He acts before he thinks. Miley cyrus.is better

No, children really shouldn't be looking up to anyone especially celebrities. You should teach your daughter to admire people's actions and not the people themselves, since all humans have flaws.
