Looking for info on an entity / demon that resembles gollum?

I wasn't sure where was the best place to ask this question, but I figured I'd start with the paranormal section.

I'm looking for information on a mythical entity / demon that looks similar to the Gollum creature on Lord of the rings. NOT the actual lord of the ring character, but rather an already established mythical creature that has the same style body shape.

    have you ever tried goblins of the olden times? or elves(not the human shaped one but the fairy/dwarf shaped elves?

    demons sorta look like golem in there real form except there larger and have no visable ears... but all demons look very similar especially if you only get a quick glance... why?
