How do I ignite emotion in my life?
I realized after someone made a Facebook post that I have no idea about what to do with my life. The Facebook post read, "After thinking, I had no idea what do with my life. After an S2S conference at DC, I met a woman who works at USC. We talked, and now I feel that I had an innermost passion for film and photography! Applying for USC, hopefully I get in!"
My goals right now are null. I have no passion, no love for anything. The girl above is in the same grade as me (Junior) and has part of her life figured out. Me? I have no clue. I don't really mind going to college, because to me it is free since I am 1/8th Pueblo Indian, and the number of scholarships on that alone may pay for college, or enough to buy me time to write essays for more scholarships. My problem isn't college, but what to do when I'm in college. I never really loved any subject, ever.
After thinking about how I don't like any subject or profession, I realized I never truly loved anything. My family was never close to me, my friends always seem to be liabilities, and I never was attracted to any woman. I never was hurt enough to cry, or be angry either. Now that I think of it, I was also never genuinely happy about anything.
I need a wake up call, something that makes me happy, sad, angry, passionate, whatever. I might have a problem, and I want to fix it. Is there any treatment, any therapy or routine that will make me feel emotional? Or a certain movie or book? Possibly even a diet? Anything would be nice.
