Should I wait a week to lock in on a mortgage interest rate?
All paperwork in, rates jumped yesterday, advised to wait, but will they just go higher? Will I miss this window?

So your broker, who knows exactly what he is doing, advised you to wait and you don't trust him. But you are willing to take opinions from total strangers whom you have no idea their level of knowledge.
The broker doesn't make more money if the rate goes up. If you don't trust who you are working with, then don't work with them.
