Bobelock Violin Case model 1017 or 6002?
Trying to decide which case to get: Bobelock violin case 1017 or 6002?
Obviously, the 1017 is probably better quality since it's more expensive and supposedly has more features... but I keep thinking to myself if those extra things are necessary. Maybe if the suspension system is significantly better in the 1017 or something, I would pay up for that. Otherwise, I think I'm leaning towards the 6002. Cheaper, lighter, also has suspension, etc. I'm not looking for anything super professional; just something that has suspension and is durable.
If anyone have either of these cases, a similar case, or has seen/used/tried either of these cases please tell me why you like/dislike the case :) Thanks in advance!
ps. just to let you know, if it is a similar case, my price range is around $200-$300.

Do you need 4 bow holders or will 2 work for you?
Do you need 3 pockets in the case or will one larger one work for you?
Some styles of shoulder rest won't fit in even the biggest of the three pockets in the Hill style case. All of the Bobelock cases use a similar suspension system.
Depending on your answers to the above, you should also consider the model 1002 - which I believe is the most popular model (in Velvet. The Bobelock is gorgeous - it is almost regal with a hint of purple. Bobelock cases were the ones that I recommended the most during my 35 years in the business as the stood the test of time.
