Just out of curiosity, I would like to ask.. how many think that Lance Armstrong?

really did use some sort of drug all these years. Especially now that another member of his team has come forth and said he did.. is it all getting too fishy to not wonder????

Thanks for all opinions.

It is very difficult to tell !!!!!

Most of the accusers are known offenders who were offered forgiveness in exchange for testimony against Lance. One known offender was even given one last ride in the Tour De France in 2012 before retiring in exchange for his damning testimony against Lance. Whether their testimonies are true or whether they are lying to save their own skins is unknown. That is part of the reason that Bicycling Magazine titled their large article, "Injustice for All".

At this time the sport, most individual athletes, and the Anti-Doping Agency have all lost some credibility. It will be interesting to see how the agency tries to regain their credibility.

    PS:

Since Lance is a has-been, (retired cyclist, gotten too old to be competitive in professional competition) there is really nothing that can be done to him except to say bad things about him.

    At this time

Armstrong not only took drugs, he got other's to take them and

used threats to keep rider's quiet. He has been found guilty by the USADA

of systematic, long term doping through sheer weight of evidence.

Yet people will still defend him. In a way it was his near untouchable

reputation that kept this from coming out earlier. It seems that

through that whole era of cycling most rider's were doping, and

Lance Armstrong was very much at the heart of it.

Of course he doped. Testimony in the report released by USADA says that the doping regimen was a required part of being on the US Postal team. And that testimony is corroborated by the few test results that USADA was able to get. I don't blame him for being the ring-leader, though; it appears that all the pro teams had similar policies (but inferior team doctors.)
