I am looking for a quick point and shoot camera?

I need a small camera point and shoot size, that is fast like an SLR camera. Every point and shoot camera I have had seems to take so long from when you push the button til it actually takes the picture. I have missed so many great shots. I have a canon rebel but I need something smaller to take along for everyday outings. Any suggestions?

    The Nikon 1 has what you need. Fast response, small, choice of lenses. It's not the cheapest but it is good. You could always go for a small dslr plus wide range zoom. All the Nikon amateur aimed models have full auto functions

    There aren't any or haven't you figured that out by now... small, cheap pocket toys are always slow... that's one of the reasons, among many others, that they're cheap.

    If you want dslr response then buy a dslr.
