The logic alludes me?
If God is all knowing and therefore knows our fate (predestination), then what is the purpose of free-will?

Just because God KNOWS our fate, doesn't mean He MAKES our fate.

People forget that even human beings are capable of considering the past, the present, and the future within the space of one second.
Your child starts off on his brother's bicycle which is too tall for him.
You know that in the PAST he had a hard time controlling even his smaller bike.
You see that he is wobbling (the PRESENT).
You know that he will fall when he comes to that rough place in the driveway, and he does. (The FUTURE.)
Your knowledge of the past, the present, and the future does not prevent the child from having the free will to try and ride that bike.
You let him fall.
Maybe he will learn something from it.
If a human being can be all-knowing about such a little event, what makes us think that God, who also lets us fall, is any less powerful than we are?

Predestination is not always set in stone neither are predictions. This means that we are given choices in our lives. GOD knows all the paths we can take and all the possible outcomes. There for the choice of how we live and die is up to us. We can be stupid or we can make something of ourselves. It is also our choice to believe in GOD/Deities, or not. So that will also determine the out come of our lives. GOD/the Deities will not interfere, but they can help if asked, guide if asked and try to keep us from destroying ourselves by giving us a nudge in the right direction. It is our choice whether or not to pay attention.

There is no such thing. Free will cannot exist in the face of complete omnipotence.
If a "god" is all-knowing and knows what you will "choose" in the future, the choice is simply an illusion. The outcome is known, and therefore there cannot be a free choice.

Exactly. If God knew who would choose against him, and yet created us anyway, we have the same double predestination that the free will crowd denies. Go figure.

"Eludes" not "Alludes"
And your question is negated by the simple statement: There IS no God therefore He cannot have established predestination OR granted free will.

Did you mean "eludes me?"
The claim of an omnipotent and omniscient god, and the claim of "free will," are self-contradictory. There is no way around that.
Peace.

Joshua 24:15
King James Version (KJV)
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

I think you mean 'eludes'.
There is no logic in the issue. It's nonsense. It only works for people who don't understand it.

The purpose is that we have sovereignty of will. God foreknowing what we will do doesn't in any way constrain our freedom of choice.
