You can volunteer your time, that way you're not spending any money, but you're still helping out your community.

make a video of the closest cat/dog/baby you can see and post it on youtube.
i heard they make a lot of people happy and it might make you happy too if it goes viral and starts reaping some profits

Maybe you can have a flash mob dance party and donate proceeds to charity of your choice?Say to participate it can be a buck or donate it for a specific cause.
