How to solve & graph this polynomial function?

g(x) = (x-3) (x^2+x+1)

    If by "solve" you mean find the x values that make g(x) = 0, you have already done it. There is only one real value x = 3. Notice that x = 3 makes the factor (x - 3) become zero, thereby making g(x) = 0.

    The quadratic x² + x + 1 has no real roots; it has two complex roots that are conjugates of each other.

    To graph this function let y = g(x) = (x - 3)(x² + x + 1)

    let x = -2, find what y must equal, and plot the (x,y) point.

    Repeat the above for x = -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5

    Connect the points with a smooth line and make the lines continue off the page toward negative infinity on the left side and positive infinity on the right side.
