Avatar: Last Airbender Eye Colors?

Has anyone else noticed that the eye color seems to be related to the tribe? For example, Katara and Socka have blue eyes (like water). Aang has grey (like air). Zuko has reddish amberish, fire. King Bumi's, as far as I know, are green like Earth. Toph's blind, so she doesnt count, but other than her is this true for all the characters? Any ideas?(:

    i have noticed it, but it also makes sense since they usually dont interact with the other element benders (especially since they are mainly at war with the fire nation) and also if they all had the smae eye color it wouldnt make sense bc that would never happen in real life. ;P

    yeah it does but toph's are green doesn't matter if she's blind
