Do I have an ankle sprain?
about 1 and a half week ago I think I twisted or sprained my ankle
I think it's more of a twist than a sprain because it wasn't too bad
I could walk with just a little bit of limping that same day and after one or two days I could walk just fine
but the annoying part is if this is just a minor injury, why isn't it healing by now?
It's cross country season and I already missed out on 2 meets and I'm dying to get back up and do recovery jogs and eventually get back to running
my ankle, as of now, seems okay as the swelling has gone down quite a bit but whenever I squat or turn my ankle a certain way it hurts a little
I've been doing a LOT of Icing, rest ( just walking and stuff) and etc
and when I went to see my doc last week he said it would be okay in 5 days but it;s been past that...
someone plz help!!

try getting a brace or taping it. It should help with stability.
