question about carnival cruise?

when you get on the cruise ship, is there a way that we can have them switch someone room assignment around. we have someone going on a carnival cruise with us who is only 19 so I have to stick them in the room that has the 25 yr old in it, but that is not the room that their ultimately going to be in. Just want to know if carnival will be willing to switch them to the other room have with 21 yr olds after we get on the ship, because we would like for their key card to work for the room that they will staying in. Also they cant just switch key cards with someone else because of their name on the card and their credit card on file just throwing that one out there. Thank You

They may do it for families traveling with their children, but I doubt that a cruise line which requires that at least one person be 25 if anyone in the cabin is under 21 will do that when an unrelated group of young adults are traveling together. Those age restrictions are in place for a reason.

Just go to the purser's desk when you get on-board and they will switch the room keys for you. They do that all the time.

They've done it for us in the past, when we had our "kids" in a separate room [they were teenagers and were in the room next door]. It might depend on whether the cabins are located near each other.

just switch rooms and cards( watch how they spend naturally) when you get there! who's going to know? and besides if your worried about the room attendants, then simply bring an extra $100 bill to take care of that.

Trust me, Mr. franklin is very influential!

No - Carnival is pretty particular about their rules and they won't bend them for you......
