They requested a copy of my SS card, Drivers License, Rental or lease agreement, w2form, etc And they would send it in the mail. Seems a little extreme to me. Did I just get ripped off?

Hello! I want to take my home video from my computer( which I loaded from my HD camcorder), and put this video on a Blue Ray disc so it can be played on a BD DVD player. My question is...what device do I need to transfer this video to BD? a BD burner/writer or?

If you plug a external hard drive into a computer,can it shut down the computer? I loaned my hard drive to a friend who wanted to download some movies onto it ( as she has done many times allready),and she came back and said my hard drive is responsible for shutting down two of her computers.does virus protection help at all in this case?

We have been told at work that Osha has advised the employees to photograph anyone breaking any rules in the plant, such as not wearing earplugs or safety goggles etc., and turn them in. Basically they are encouraging people to nark on each other. Can they do that? Do they have the authority, or is there some law or rule that says this can be done?

I have a Behringer 1204 mixer. I hooked up my two mains, and also one monitor speaker. I was told to plug the monitor into the AUG SEND input. So I did, but now all I can hear singing from the mic coming out of the monitor, but none of the music. This set up is for karaoke, and I just want the singer to hear themselves clearly while singing. But still why no music, only the voice comes Through.

How can you tell if a road is private, or is open to the public? I want to ride my bike on a very nice paved road that is in an un-developed business park area. The only sign is one that says...private property no dumping. Is the road private, or just the land only? The roads have normal street signs just like any other road. Would it have to say...private road? can I ride on this road or not?

Just bought a nice used wave runner. Plenty of lakes around my area. My question is can you ride in ANY lake? or are there requirements of some kind, like the lake must have a public loading ramp or something like that. I live out of range of any good cable service, so I have to use Dish Network. It sucks! it's expensive, plus I don't want cable because I can see anything I want online. Don't need a land line because we all have cell phones. Is there another way or company that can give the INTERNET all by itself?
