Canadian marrying American.. visa process and leaving the country?

Alright.. so my fiance and I are planning to get married next August. I am Canadian and he is American. We plan to live in the U.S. and as I will have my nursing degree, I hope to be able to get a job as a nurse. Has anyone gone through the visa process before? What is the "best" (ie. legal, affordable, quick) method for going about this? Also, when I was looking at visajourney.com to try and figure all this out, it said once you're married you have to apply for change of status, and apply to leave the country. Do we have to get married in the U.S.? Once we're married are we allowed to go on a honeymoon in another country or do I have to wait till I apply for another visa? Any answers would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

first decide if you need a fiancee visa or a spousal visa

you apply for the visa outside of the US

so if you marry in Canada then you apply for a CR1 spousal visa

when you get the visa .. you enter the US ..and a few weeks later your green

    card arrives in the mail

If you marry and go on honeymoon no problem ... just keep out of the US

And why will you no longer settle for a link to USCIS? in case you're too lazy to verify the entire internet site, then we are too lazy to tell you the entire technique. that's what the USCIS internet site is for. for you in looking out what you ought to do. I wont difficulty putting a link up on the grounds which you have already stated you dont choose for one. The hyperlinks are actually working you recognize.
