My guinea pig is still shy?
I have had my guinea pig now for about a month and a half now, but when I try to pick her up out of her cage, she still runs around like a crazy maniac, so after a few minutes of trying I just give her a small treat to lure her into my hand. One I have her and hold her for a while in my arms, I sometimes have to move her but when I pick her up, she does this really loud high pitch squeaking. How do I make her more comfortable with me?

Well it depends on from what part you are coming from.It would be best not on top of the cage.If your hands are coming from the top, there the guinea pig would seem like if it was a predator coming from above.I recommend coming from eye to eye.I know.I have 6 guinea pigs and they feel so comfortable with me.

I have had my Guinea pigs for a year and they still run when I try to pick them up.
I think Guinea pigs are just nervous animals.
