How can you transfer video files from a handheld camera to a DVD disc for playback on a TV?

If you have Windows XP or Vista, you already have Windows Movie Maker on your computer. You may have to dig through the start menu to find it.

Pull one or all of the AVI videos into WMM and make a DVD... it really is that simple.

As for your +RW discs... I had a DVD player that would only work with -RW. There are still many out there with such a limitation. It will probably say on the front of your DVD player, if not it will certainly be in the manual.

1. Save your *avi format file on your PC.

2. Download a FREE video converter from:

(or any other website, such as download,com)

3. Convert the *avi file to a *NTSC (dvd format) file.

4. Burn the *dvd file to a disc (if less than 700mb, use cd-rom)
