Good grief, it's only Nov 2nd and......?

I heard Christmas music upon entering a department store today.....damn Sears!!

How early do you expect to hear holiday music in stores? Am I turning into a Scrooge or does this seem a little on the early side to you too? It wasn't just the odd holiday song thrown into a mix either, it was one of those "holiday channels"!!!

To me, Dec 1st is an acceptable time to start playing it.

Hey, it's all about money and getting people into the Christmas spirit is the way to make them spend it. -------------------------------

I know I was in Kohls the day after Halloween and they played a Christmas song! Too early! I say the day after Thanksgiving is acceptable!

I hate to say it, but I LOVE CHRISTMAS MUSIC! But, I think AFTER thanksgiving is an acceptable time to start playing it. I heard it on the radio last week, STILL IN OCTOBER!

Hearing christmas music this early makes me think about how expensive christmas is! haha.

I love Christmas music and November 1 is not too early.

  • Australia, BrisVegas, they were putting up the big fancy Christmas decorations at our local mall today, we both shuddered and left, then there was a lady marking price tags on packets of Christmas cards, bah humbug, I can also buy fruit mince pies (though Lord knows who'd want to) at my local supermarket. I say bring back the 12 days of Christmas, start going nuts on say the 13th of December. Then after the 26th, it should be gone!

I do love it - But I feel a bit silly to get excited just yet.. I guess it's just to help the christmas shoppers get in the spirit lol...

    I agree it's a bit early though!!

December 1st is when I put my decorations up and start getting jolly haha! xxx
