How can I avoid the one-way drop off fee on rental car?
Need some help.........
I would like to rent a car in Albequerque and drop it off in Phoenix, but the rental companies would like to nick me approximately $500 on the one-way. Anybody have any secrets to avoid that fee?
Thanks for the help.
Tried the sex thing..........she doubled the rate.
Yes, the one way fees are running as high as $500 in some cases.
The Drive Away shows promise, will let you know.

I'm in Australia, and having the same dilemma. We will be driving from LA to New York.
I did some research and found a great deal on driveawaybookings.com, and when I called up, I was told there's no one way drop off fees.
The company is based in Australia, but try and see if you can make the booking through them.
Let us know how it goes.

Call the agencies to see if they have a car that needs to be returned to Phoenix and offer to drive it. It works for U-Haul. :)
