Blackberry Pearl doesn't take any input?

Hi,

I just restored my BB because I forgot the password. Now, it won't take any input from keypad. It takes input sometimes like in the browser and SMS/EMail but it doesn't accept me typing 'blackberry' to erase the phone again and start over.

Also, sometimes while surfing the web, when I have to fill out forms, it won't take any input from the keypad. For example, I am trying to restart my E-Mail services and I need to send my Username password. It won't take any input. It becomes like pressing TAB key on a computer. If I press C, it goes to Close and F gets me to Forgot Password.

What should I do?? Please help!!

    Try pulling the battery out for thirty seconds.

    I even have appeared on the pearl, and the treos, having owned a 7290 and nonetheless have a 8700c interior the previous. of those instruments, i got here across the 8700 to be the finest to apply, with the suited demonstrate and the finest keyboard. I now have a cingular 8515, (which you may purchase unlocked on line to apply with different carriers). i think is nicer than the present treos and the blackberrys...
