If it is only around the ears and at the back but the top is ok, then a regular taper cut with a very short taper on the back/sides should work. If the top is cut too but not the hair at the front hairline, then a crew cut, ivy league(long crew cut), flat top crew cut or butch with a bumper should work if the hair is graduated in length short enough to encompass the hair that was cut too short or in a strange way. If the hair at the front was also cut very short, then a butch might be the only alternative.

Some barbers describe an ivy league as a crew cut just long enough to be parted and combed to the side if so desired. An ivy league can also be worn with the hair brushed up off the forehead to form the short pomp front or with the short bangs brushed down on the forehead like a forward brush cut.

Grooming any of the short pomp styles- crew cut, ivy league, flat top crew cut- is basically the same and takes about a minute or two.

1) Towel dry hair.

2) Barely dip fingertips in jar of wax.

3)Transfer wax to palms.

4) Smooth palms over hair.

5)Brush hair off forehead to form short pomp front.

Whichever style you decide on, be sure to take a photo to help describe the desired haircut to the barber or stylist.

I bet it was really funny. I bet the instant you saw your hair in a mirror, you didn't in any way feel degraded, invaded or hurt. After all - it was a laugh, wasn't it?

Believe it or not, this is a specific form of bullying. These "friends" did this cruel, nasty, vindictive act, not out of fun and high-jinx, they did it simply because they enjoyed it.

There was a ring-leader, who came up with the idea. There were others, who followed the plan.

Of course they laughed - you were/ you are the butt of the joke!

YOU're not going to be able to do anything with your own hair - you need someone else to try and balance it up, as best they can.

Go to a hairstylist, somewhere where they can do the job right. That costs money - send the bill to your "friends" parents. See who's laughing then.

These "friends" struck when you thought you were safe and secure. They took advantage of that. THEY ATTACKED IN YOUR SLEEP, pure and simple.

Go to the best salon you can afford, find someone whose hair you like, and ask who cuts it. The stylists cut each other's hair. Then throw yourself on the mercy of that stylist. You might not get a haircut that you want to keep permanently, but you'll end up with something that you can live with for a few weeks.

Oh, and get new friends.

I suppose you should just cut it as short as possible unti lit looks normal, then wear either a hat or a wig, or something like that, until it grows back.
